It is my great pleasure and honor to formally announce the very first MIRET 2019 International Transoral Thyroidectomy Symposium & Cadaver Workshop, which will be held in Seoul, December 14-15, 2019.

MIRET, Minimally Invasive Robotic and Endoscopic Thyroidectomy, Study Group was founded in March, this year, to share the valuable experience in the innovative procedures in thyroid surgery as well as to help the colleagues to smoothly adapt the advanced techniques in their clinical practice.

To pursue our scope, MIRET 2019 International Transoral Thyroidectomy Symposium & Cadaver Workshop promises to be a great opportunity for congressional sessions, diverse program covering a wide range of issues in the “transoral thyroidectomy”.
I believe that the days of the symposium and workshop will be marked by most up to date lectures, live surgery demonstration, in-depth discussion regarding technical advancement and tips/tricks, as well as the hands-on transoral thyroidectomy cadaver workshop with world-wide renowned surgeons in the field. I’m quite sure that this opportunity will stimulate further cooperation between the well-known experienced professionals and those who are just at the entrance of their threshold of expected success as well.
